obesity isn't necessarily people stuffing their faces. it has been proven to have a genetic link to it. for example if you feed two people the exact same foods in the exact same portions for their entire lives, the person with the genetic trait for obesity could grow to be 50-200 pounds larger.
the opposite, asking if anorexia should be marked as a disease or if people should just say "those people are stupid, they should just pick up something and eat it" isn't going to correct their problems. |

theres this chick i know.. she can eat anything she wants, junk food, whatever and shes like 100 lbs. if i ate what she did id be like 1000 lbs. it is all on genetics but people that become obease do it to themselves. they can eat right and still be healthy but they have to have the will power to do it and accept the fact they cant eat like everyone else.
i myself have a very bad matabolism and ive got to deal with that. it does suck but its just one of those things. |
