Unless, of course, you want it to.
The way I see it there is no reason why the universe wasn't designed to yield it exactly what it has; stars, planets, life, people, britney spears, atoms etc. The whole thing about evolution being driven random chance is misleading and understandably offensive to people of faith. Because in life, there are vary few, if any, random occurences only peusdo-randomness when something is sufficiently complicated to appear random to our limited intelect. Who is say the universe wasn't packed up into a tiny spec and intentionally arranged in such a way that when it exploded it would come to yield everything we observe today, including being designed to evolve life and even specifically humans. Kinda like those books that pop-up into a 3D picture when you open them. (30,000 Bling for a better anology)
Obviously that would be a monumental design achievement but I don't think anyone is supposing just any old entity can create matter.
In summary, I am theorizing that: the universe was intelligently designed to evolve life and possibly humans as we know them.
I post my thoery here for peer review. All constructive comments appreciated. |

| I always argued that point... I still think that whatever entity created us, God, was just bored so threw some stuff together and watched it evolve and grow... I never understood why people argues that the evidence of evolution disproves the existence of God... no it just sorta disproves different religious theories.. I liked the Britney spears throw in by the way.. |

Great link YBM. I haven't finished reading it yet but I am fascinated. I guess I was wrong and you're not a dullard, I have to admit changing my title to "fatter than you" was kinda funny too.

Interesting concept, I've heard it before, or something very like it. There really is nothing wrong with the concept as a whole. You'll only ever run into problems when going against specific religious beliefs, otherwise, hard to argue with it.
IMO a better analogy is one of the new designer fireworks btw. You've seen them, they're the ones that look like a normal firework, but they are designed in such a way that when they explode (big bang) they expand into a specified shape and size. Like smily faces, planets, trees, hearts, etc. |
